A late morning today. Extra sleep and not enough homework. Such was my morning, throughout the day, I smiled often. Yet today, like yesterday, I was not able to work on dance preparations beyond my usual quirky dance habits. Today was about friends through good and bad. Dance is life, but friends are structure. At lunch, I was surprised to see an old friend; I didn't get to chat, but it amazed me. As soon as school let out, I rushed to the studio for Paquita and Festival rehearsal. As always, festival rehearsal was enlightening, with welcomed changes and new improvements. Paquita was also extremely helpful. Because we take our steps directly from an interpretation of the original ballet, it can be quite a struggle to learn. Each dancer is subject to see it differently. At the end of three and a half hours, we were released. We went out once again for my friends birthday, although I felt and still do feel ill. I am eager for the weekend and ready for sleep; tomorrow there is dance. For Sunday, research, and dreaded homework. Goodnight world. ;)
